Ballarat’s Gold Museum will be offering a rare opportunity for visitors to see its store of hidden treasures, with a tour behind the scenes of this unique museum. Discover the priceless collection of gold nuggets, gold coins, rare artifacts and historic documents.

The Museum manages a collection of 80,000 items for nearby Sovereign Hill, giving visitors an insight into the wealth derived from the great Australian gold rush in the 1850s.

Temporary exhibitions include “Migrant to Citizen: Stories from Ballarat’s Polish Community”, “Faces in the Street: Portraits of Ballarat Lives” and the creative art exhibition “Curious to Creativity”.
