“A good old-fashioned slide night”. The Australiana Research Room at the Ballarat City Library is offering you the chance to see a Magic Lantern Slide show, featuring glass slides of Ballarat dating back to the 1890’s.

There will also be 35mm slides from the late Bon Strange’s collection, featuring the 1960 Begonia Parade, the Ballarat Botanical Gardens and Lake Wendouree.

The Library also has a special photographic display on show.
